The first northwesterly storm is coming through for the winter and its bringing some great ‘new snow. There is A LOT forecast to arrive in the next few days so we’ve got all our fingers and toes crossed!

We had a great powder day on the 13th July up on Walter Peak with perfect weather conditions. It was so good the clients rebooked for the next day then and there!
Relentless storms over the last 2 weeks have coated the mountains with up to 1.5 metres of snow.
During the weekend we heliskied for 2 days, the earliest I have ever been heliskiing in 14 years of operation. The snow base was deep allowing us to ski to all our normal mid winter pickup areas. If the current winter is anything to go by this could be one of the best winters for many years.
